having been away as long as i was, i forgot how tough day 15
lineups can be. especially, i think, if you've picked a mostly
decent team, which i think i did this time. a lot of my good
players are fighting each other. i really wanted to put both
hakuho and baruto on the bench, but i think hakuho is a slightly
better choice than wakakoyu. we'll see if this all works out ok.

Not much to say today really! The Universe (or at least all of
the known bits of it) are now safely under the watchful eye of
Boltono and the two….er….rather different twins after Darryl’s
amazing win by tossing a coin and just standing there yesterday
and doing nothing in his own strength. One part of the Universe
is staunchly vegetarian and has only plants and herbs and vast
expanses of grassland exclusively for endless herds of
wildebeest which will be sold as must-have pets “not just for
Christmas” from Butthamma’s expanding galactic chain of pet
shops (hey I finally got the spelling right after many stories
spelling it wilderbeast!!). And the other part run by Darryl is
profoundly meat-eating (but no dinosaurs) with rather a smidgen
too many Burger King franchises. Mitt Romney and Nicholas
Sarkozy eat there often. They are both repatriated into their
original life-forms which are as slugs, unfortunately. 
As the end of yet another Bench Sumo arrives, I want to thank
the following people….
Jezz for starting the whole thing off. Jakusotso for still using
in Sumoforum the wine-bibbing image I made for him! (it’s one of
my all-time favourites). The British Royal Family for being
so….well….cardboard. Randomitsuki for giving some really
chuckle-inducing comments each basho in his BS entries, and all
the others including GG's who've put in time to take care over
written contributions. God in Christ for understanding I am a
bit irregular but He loves me anyway, and I’m aware of that and
I’m on for more of that experience (I'm not joking) as the World
goes deeper in need of something it's currently not got.
Who knows what Rannohana will do today?! I decided to try and
win by separating Baruto and Hakuho as far as I could do. The
rest is a bit of a higgle-piggle.

In the last few years, several scandals shook the secluded world
of sumos. The most popular and fattest sumo, yakuzana Asashoyu
was expelled because he played football for sweet little kids in
his home country of Monghoulia. Of course, the real reason was
that he became too powerful for Japanese tastes. 
Most recently, text messages were found where two sumos made
detailed plans on how to stage an upcoming bout ("You push a
little, I shove a little, and then you do a bellyflop"). This
led to the expulsion of 25 foreign sumos.
